Our Mission

Every Day is a Miracle is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that dedicates its efforts to helping low-income families overcome socio-economic difficulties, improve quality of life, and empower individuals to become productive citizens in their community.

Throughout the five boroughs, approximately 1.4 million people — mainly women, children, seniors, the working poor and people with disabilities — rely on soup kitchens and food pantries.

According to the Center for Women’s Welfare at the University of Washington on City Harvest' Website, "Nearly 20% of New Yorkers currently live in poverty, struggling to afford basic necessities such as rent and medical care and put food on their tables." The report shows that 42% of New York City households lack the income needed to cover necessities like food, shelter, clothing, transportation, and health care but earn too much to qualify for government assistance."
